Easy touch lancet device ?

I have the precision xtra glucose monitor that has the easy touch lancet device. What i would like to know is if this lancet device number 1 setting is for softer/thinner finger and the number 8 setting for thicker fingers.

Yes, the higher the number the deeper the penetration.
I have the same one and set it on number 5. It seems to work best for me. Some of my fingers don’t seem to bleed as easily as others but number five does the job on all of them. Nothing sucks more than having to stick yourself twice because your finger didn’t bleed enough.
