leg lifts from a dip-bar/pullup bar

medicine ball situps in a decline sit up bench. throw it back and forth with a friend

jogging to cut fat. great after an ab workout because it works the abs perfectly when they are fatigued. After your done jogging your going to be ripped

they are garbage.. the best way to train for good abs is the old fashion way. cardio work at least 4 days a week, and the old standby ab exercises.. situps or crunches, leg raises, bicycles, etc etc.. and a sensible diet..you gotta put the work in for a good set of abs, no way around it

I had physical therapy for a rotator cuff problem and some muscle. They make the muscle contract. I do not work and no need them. You have to make some effort, you can not just put in a device and have the abs magically well. You're right, you need to remove the layer fat to see your abs. But to build muscle Just Want to Make Old abs and lift your leg, among others. Not so difficult and it works.

ROUGHLY how much muscle can one add in a week,month or year

I know everybody is unique but how does one know they’re adding muscle and not fat? The electronic scales may not be too accurate if they’re not used at a consistent time each week/month. Also, if tape measure is used then even fat and water can increase the size of the body part! Plus using the mirror is biased if you judge yourself.

Basically I want to know the range of muscle mass and fat people (of both genders) can put on yearly/monthly both with and without a bodybuilding diet (with and without steroids) e.g

Teenagers (14-16)
Adolescents (17-21)
Adults (22 )
Over 30
Over 40
Over 50
Seniors

Roughly how much extra added muscular mass would be required for an increase in muscle size?

Really depends on the body type of the individual. I put it on pretty easy, about10-15 pounds in a couple months or a lil more. If your looking for quick results, its not gonna happen. You need to have a decent work out regimen to really cake it on. Id say 5 days a week approx. Not gonna be over night though. Dedicate a third to half a year. before you give up.

I am not sure. I try and use mine every morning and after losing over a stone and a half and putting all this back on, my inches did not come back with the weight.

I have never seen a dramatic loss in inches from using the belt, so do not buy one and then think after a month you be a size smaller!

I am 48 , Is my career done? Or can I still become a Flash developer?

I am 48 and wants to learn Flex/Flash/AS3. At my age is it a waste of time? I would have to compete against kids even if I masters those skills. So what do you guys think? Without mentioning that I am going to have a hard time learning all that as I never program before.

It’s going to depend on your skills. These pieces of software demand not only technical competence, but also design and graphic skills. As such it is easy to prove to potential employers your ability (or unfortunately lack of) through the use of live demonstrations. IF you were planning on applying to work for a forward thinking web consultancy you could even prepare a Flex/Flash version of your CV (alongside a conventional one).

Regards difficulties in learning Flash/Flex/AC3, to a large degree how difficult it is depends on you personally. Some people just think in a manner that is compatible with this type of software, other just don’t! So try to minimize your costs by joining a training program that allows legal access to the development software while providing distance support and advice (remember you may not be able to produce commercial output using educationally licensed software).
