Is there a huge difference between the quality of a photo taken by SLR and a LCD digital camera???

I heard a digital SLR camera is better than one wih LCD, but is there that much of a difference??? Am I better off with LCD, the cheaper choice? What’s your opinion?

All of the major brands are good. Choose a brand that appeals to you. Then you have to think about getting a spare battery, what size memory card, if you want an extended warranty, how much you can afford, what size zoom, if you want manual controls, the size of the camera, finding a reliable place to purchase it, and the list goes on and on and on…….

The first thing to realize is that almost any digital camera will take good pictures. If more people would read the manual more than once, they would be able to take better pictures. Usually, the person assumes it is the camera when it could be them not knowing exactly what to do. Just give yourself more photographic knowledge by doing more reading on the internet.

I really believe buying a camera is an individual choice.
The person needs to read alot of reviews on cameras so they can decide on the features that they really want and need.
Go to the store and hold them so you can see if they feel comfortable in your hands. If possible, take some pictures in the store to check the quality of the pictures.
I can only give a suggestion of what to look for in a new digital camera.

i’m trying to increase my vertical jump as much as possible by the end of the summer for volleyball. if i skipped a half mile a day would that help? do you have any other ideas?

It has the possibility of increasing your fitness therefore your muscles might get stronger so you could jump higher…

How can I get a Frisbee from a tree?

The disc is at least 50 feet high, and we tried a ridiculous amount of methods down. These include: Throwing big clubs, balls, rocks, etc. shooting arrows with the fishing line to the end and shaking the tree line. throwing sticks with a rope at the end and shake the tree. How large of a scale (not high enough) and shaking the industry. Use a pole saw (barely enough). Up to 20 feet and shaking. Throwing Frisbees at it. In any case, this problem is the day I and spirit of the night and can not find a good solution. Any ideas (other than the one I tested)?

What are some great indie rock/metal bands?

I am starting to get tired of all the mainstream bands, and I was wondering about some great indie hard rock or metal bands. Any bands you can refer me to are great. Thanks.

Thats a great question man. first of all I would suggest listening to Radiohead. A mainstream band i know, but their music is so good. if you are looking for indie bands i would suggest listening to minus the bear, crime in stereo, or even suffering and the hideous thieves. As far as metal goes, i would check out Converge, Remembering never, Neurosis, and Norma jean’s first cd (bless the martyr and kiss the child)

How much can I get if I sell my digital camera with broken LCD?

I have a sony DSC-w50 digital camera. I brought it with me to school and the LCD cracked when i dropped my bag somehow. I’m thinking about selling it on ebay since i know the cost fot the replacement is really high. But i wonder how much can i get from it. The camera is in perfect shape and working fine. Only the LCD cracked.
If not, is there a camera shop that can fix my LCD except sony?

Damaged cameras go for very little on eBay, but some camera-only retail locations also have repair services available. It may be worth checking out, the repair service may be less if it’s done in-house and you also don’t have to worry about shipping the camera to/back from Sony.
