The question here is: Where is the unique vision for the care of older Americans? Who really think about this?

The rising cost of medicines is not only the greed of the "Big-Pharm" companies. New drugs are powerful, much more capable than anything we had before, extending the life of people and operations. This is the age of drug "Miracle".

And the trend will not slow down. Every aspect of the crystal ball shows healthcare Pharmaceuticals assume more health care. In fact, the drugs eventually replace most of the surgery and other treatments that we do today. But we are still discussing whether to pay for it to older Americans, because if drugs were somehow not part of the so-called "health" but some Golden-Ager Weird self-indulgence.

The question again is: Where is the vision?

Is it ok for my 6 yr. old daughter to do core training?

My daughters been using TRX once sometimes twice a week for a bout 6 weeks. She usually only does 2 exercises but it’s really shown. She’s dominating in her Jiu-Jitsu to the point I feel that she’s cheating. Any input would be helpful.

I don’t know what TRX is but my daughter is into competitive ice skating and it’s very common for kids that age to be skating and doing core exercises 4-5 times a week, plus flexibility training and ballet. Some of the 6 year olds have little six packs! It’s considered normal in that world.

OK, so far my car/camper conversion includes:
Removing passenger seat/rear fold-down seats for room.

Using Velcro to attach a blackout curtain for privacy and darkness on those nights spent in a parking lot.

Possibly buying a deep-cycle battery to run laptop, electronics, heater/fan while car isn’t running.

Cooler for beverages.

Laptop+wi-fi hotspots for Internet and entertainment.

Can opener and Titanium Spork.

Futon matress, pillow, sleeping bag for comfortable living.

Using truck stops, fitness clubs, college dorms to shower.

bike rack for bike, my alt source of transportation.

Power invertor, electric pot for food.

What are some other things I can do for my car, or to support myself for an extended vacation?

When i slept in the back of my explorer i found that where i stopped i almost always found the ground was unlevel, it was extremely hard to sleep on a slant. If i were to sleep in my truck again i would have brought a level and a few various sizes of wood to level the truck and make it more comfortable. :)

There are over 300 locations and they occasionally offer free passes.

PowerHouse Gym: Can you say ahhh! Many of these high class gyms include in-house massage, tanning beds and spas. You can be sure that the little details will be taken care of all the way down to rubber floors that help absorb impact. The only problem is getting out of the spa room and onto the exercise machines. But you can also use it as a great reward for getting through the workout. They also have over 300 locations in 15 countries but offer no free passes.

YMCA: This gym has a huge focus on family activities so if you’ve got little ones bring them along. You’ll have quality time and be teaching your children healthy habits at the same time you’re burning fat. The only major complaint I have heard against the YMCA is that their equipment is not for serious athletes. But if you’re just looking to get a good cardio workout or lift some weights this may be the way to go. Plus, you don’t have to sign a contract to get in if you don’t want to. There are over 2,500 locations so you probably won’t have a hard time finding one nearby.

Gold’s Gym: You may have heard them be referred to as the ‘Mecca of Body Building.’ This is why many beginner athletes find Gold’s Gym to be intimidating when they first join. However, you can turn this into your biggest motivator as you strive to keep up with the amazing people around you and transform your body. They have 600 centers in 25 different countries
